Svenomenon!

We finally got another guitar controller for Guitar Hero. Needless to say, Jay and I were rocking out tonight! Our band is named Svenomenon and we were called out for two encores. We are pretty fantastic.

You may be wondering where the name "Svenomenon" came from. We love Sven from the Kare 11 Weather Team. We have been making jokes about him and including him in conversation for at least a year. He is always a strange shade of orange and looks like he is 12 years old and very small. Jay actually saw him at a 5K last summer and made a point to get close to him to see how tall he really is. The result is that Sven is not tall at all; Sven is quite small. Was that a bit of poetry? Anyway....that is how our band came to be named Svenomenon!

Took the kiddies to the zoo today. Ended up buying a membership for $85 instead of paying $28 for just today. I have to go 2 more times this year to make it worthwhile. So if anyone wants to join me, let me know! Ethan ran like a crazy person the whole time. In fact, I spent most of my time trying to find him--he kept running FAR ahead. Disney will be interesting this year, folks. How do we feel about child leashes?
